Four decades in the steel, metals, and transportation industry along with being an entrepreneur and servicing the community, is the backdrop for Stuart’s extensive experience. Stuart founded The Peregrine Company in 1994 and The Peregrine Transportation Company in 2011. He began his career with Steel Technologies in 1981, where he held various positions including serving on the Board of Directors and President of Mi-Tech Steel. In 2011, after significantly contributing to these companies that his father, Merwin Ray had founded and grew to two billion in revenue, he left to grow his Peregrine companies.  In 2019, Stuart along with his daughter Shelby purchased Eagle Steel & Metal Products, and Shelby is the President of ESMP.
